2019 IC of GB Sportsmanship Award

IC of GB President Mark Cox presented Sue Barker with the IC of GB Sportsmanship Award in the Last 8 Club on Thursday evening. There were a number of people present including Heinz Gunthardt who won The Junior Boys Singles at Roland Garros in 1976, the year that Sue won the French Open. Mark spoke very eloquently about Sue’s career both as a player and in broadcasting. Sue accepted the Award most graciously.. 

Sue reached a career-high singles ranking of world number 3, won 15 WTA singles titles and the French Open in 1976.
