Lewis Barnes helped the IC of GB to a 10 ½ - 2 ½ victory over Bradfield College on his debut for the IC of GB. The match was played in good spirit and Bradfield laid on a lovely dinner for the teams afterwards. The match Captain even persuaded Tony Billington to recount a few tails of the fixture in years gone by when Messrs Billington, Gorringe and Stotesbury were in their pomp. The popularity of the fixture with the men was borne out by the whole men's IC team making themselves available for selection next year particularly in anticipation of the school having raised sufficient funds to build the 6 artificial clay courts they have planning permission for to compliment the 3 acrylic indoor courts.
