IC DOUBLES WEEK

Life's a Breeze...
Winners: IC of USA
Event Date: 12^th – 16^th January 2015 

Toni Thompson (Captain), Joy Tacon, Derek Howarth and Roy Henderson all represented Great Britain at the IC Doubles Week. Six teams participated in the event which was hosted by the IC of The Bahamas in Nassau. Unfortunately, due to last minute injuries, the GB team had to rely on two local Bahamian male players but we were always able to field a full, competitive team. 

Kit and Lesley Spencer did a fantastic job in organising the event, which included trips to the National Art Gallery, Watlings Rum Distillery and an afternoon sailing round Nassau Harbour. 

The IC “Entertainment” Banquet in Breezes Ballroom resulted in a win for IC of GB, who performed a hilarious sketch and song involving the Royal Family!  Other teams performed a variety of acts during the fun packed evening. 

Congratulations to Team USA for their successful defence of the title.
