The IC match against the UKAFLTA was played on the courts at Halton Tennis Club in excellent weather. The Club has 6 synthetic, 6 indoor and 4 hard courts so come what may the match was going to be played.  

The IC of GB Team of Felipe Bunster (Captain), James Marsalek, Jamie Muirhead and Allan Pengelly (guest) acquitted themselves extremely well, playing tennis to a very high standard, all matches being fiercely contested and played in the spirit of the game. 

The UKAFLTA Team made us feel extremely welcome throughout the afternoon, and after the match hosted a delicious curry dinner which our team thoroughly enjoyed.  

Although the UKAFLTA Team won 3-1 we were not outgunned and the match could have gone either way and I say that as the unbiased match Manager!

The UKAFLTA Team were extremely grateful for the gifts of The IC of GB umbrellas which will be saved for a rainy day!
