IC of GB vs ICs of Belgium & Czech Republic

The Hurlingham Club

On Sunday 30th June the IC of GB hosted the ICs of Belgium and Czech Republic at the Hurlingham Club, in the third and final fixture of their week as our pre-Wimbledon guests. 

The weather and playing conditions were perfect, as were the grass courts, and the match was played alongside the club’s annual Garden Party, which this year was even more spectacular than usual, with the club celebrating it’s 150th year. 

The IC of GB were victorious on the day, with some great tennis and fun had by all. The match was followed by a very enjoyable doubles exhibition between Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram, and John Peers and Henri Kontinen, and our visitors finished their trip at the first day of The Championships.
