This match has been running for over 55 years and brings together 2 pairs in the 45+ age group and 2 pairs in the 60+ age group. It is keenly contested with the result rarely being a white wash for either side. The result attests to this.

Given the level of showers that interrupted the Wimbledon Championships this year we were lucky to be on the grass and enjoy a meal by the lake at St George’s after the match. As ever the hospitality shown by St George’s was excellent. Our thanks to Michael Dawe who managed the match on behalf of the SLTC.
