Latest 2020 Fixture List

Participation in the matches goes to the heart of what the club is all about; “hands across the net, friendship across the ocean”.  If you are relatively new to the club please play in as many matches as you can and if you are a long standing member please re-commit yourself to a few matches in 2020. Don’t delay, if you have an interest in a match please approach the relevant match manager.

2020 IC of GB Wimbledon Ticket Ballot

Another great IC of GB membership benefit is access to the annual Wimbledon ticket ballot. See below for more details including eligibility rules and a download link for the application form.

Availability:  A pair of tickets will be made available on the following days: 
No. 1 Court Tickets:    Mon 29^th June to Weds 8^th July inclusive.
Centre Court Tickets: Tues 30^th June, Fri 3^rd, Tues 7^th and Thurs 9^th July.

Eligibility: The IC of GB Wimbledon ticket ballot is open to IC members who are not also members of the AELTC, nor the LTA Council.

IC Ball: Saturday June 27th Grosvenor House Hotel, London

The premier event on the IC of GB calendar is drawing ever closer! Once again the IC of GB is proud to host what is sure to be a very special evening in the heart of London's Park Lane. For those new to the event, the IC Ball features a champagne reception followed by a fantastic 3 course meal with wine included, first class live entertainment and a chance to hear from one or two very special guests from the world of tennis. This year sees the same ticket prices as last year,  just £110 for each member plus one guest and £120 for each guest thereafter, ensuring that the event continues to be great value too. In addition we have negotiated preferential room rates at the Grosvenor House - so why not make a weekend of it!

IC Golf Day: Wednesday 6th May, Moor Park Golf Club

The Golf Day will be held in the spectacular surroundings of Moor Park Golf Club and is open to all IC Members and their guests (restricted to three per member), both ladies and men, in teams of 3 or 4. The format will be 18 holes Stableford Competition played on the High Course off full handicap.
We expect play to commence at 10:30 a.m. and the day concludes with dinner and prize giving  at 6 p.m.

The cost of the day will be £55 per head, including green fees, dinner and wine.
There will be several prizes to play for, including team prize, lower and higher handicaps, longest drive and nearest the pin etc. Numbers will be restricted to around 50, so please apply early to secure your place The closing date for entries Thursday 30th April 2020.

Fixture Focus : IC of Denmark, June 20th & 21st, Copenhagen

This time we profile what is sure to be an excellent fixture against the IC of Denmark in Copenhagen. The team will be made up of 12-15 players and we are looking for a mix of men and ladies ranging from 30+ to 70+. Full details are still to be confirmed, although it is likely that the team will fly out on Friday 19th June and fly back on Sunday evening with play scheduled for both the Saturday and Sunday. The IC of Denmark have secured reservations at the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen at a price of DKK 2,000 per double room per night.
