The IC of GB were narrowly beaten 5-4 by a world class team in a hard fought battle at Puente Romano, a most gorgeous tennis resort in Marbella - Spain.

The Puente Romano team included some current and ex-world ranked ATP players such as David Sanchez (ex ATP #43) who was defeated by Lewis Burton in a match of the highest standard. Their team was further complimented by Marco Djokovic (currently ATP #916) and Carlos Gomez (current ATP #268), Nicholas Delgado (ex ATP player).

Puente Romano hosted us fabulously with special mention to Bill Doyle their club captain and the resort's Managing Director Shaun Leleu, for their huge generosity in making this one of the most popular overseas fixtures in our IC of GB Match Calendar.
