CQS IC 4 Nations Trophy 14th - 17th June 2018 Result: IC of GB 3rd Venue: ICLTK Tennis Club, Prague The IC of GB touring team finished 3rd overall in the CQS IC 4 Nations Trophy held at the ICLTK Tennis Club on the Stavanice Island in the heart of Prague, Czech Republic. The event featured teams from the ICs of Belgium, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Interestingly, matches used a time based format with games won awarded to countries and individual players after one hour of play. The first day featured pairs from each country competing against other nations, and on the second day, players were paired off with individuals from other countries. It was a relatively unique and interesting format for all involved. There were also many opportunities to get to know the players from other teams at a variety of social events organised by our hosts Jiri Medonos and Helena Sukova. Of particular note, participants were treated to a formal dinner and a riverboat cruise up the Vltava river. There was also a sightseeing tour of the beautiful Chateaux Nelahozeves and an evening of opera at the Zofin Palace on Slovansky Island. GB captain Jeremy Woods was privileged to be made an honorary member of the IC of Czech Republic. Our thanks to the IC of Czech Republic for hosting such a wonderful event.
