The IC of GB team secured a closely fought 5-4 match win against a touring Harvard and Yale men's team on the grass courts at Roehampton Club.  This fixture is part of a series of warm-up matches for the touring Harvard and Yale team as they build towards the Prentice Cup, a biennial match against Oxford and Cambridge that takes place in the UK every four years.

The match was followed by dinner and the Weatherill Cup was presented to the winning IC of GB captain, Richard Ground, by Barry Weatherill.
